On Socially Responsible Investing The Colloquium
on Socially Responsible Investing
meetings focus on practical research designed to enhance the abilities of
investment professionals to better serve their clients. The Colloquium is a
group that meets annually to discuss specific research related topics of
interest to socially responsible investors. Colloquium members are made up of
pension plan sponsors, investment managers, consultants and academics.
Membership of this forum is limited to facilitate the unique format of
speaker, audience interaction. Our 2000
annual meeting will be held in October at the Boston Society of Security Analysts
Headquarters. The event will include presentations by Abigail
McWilliams ofArizona State University West; prominent SRI critic, Doug Cogan of
IRRC who will present leading research on Tobacco Divestment and Fiduciary
Responsiblity: A Legal and Financial Analysis; as well as many other cutting
edge research presentations. Not only will members have the opportunity to gain insight from leading researchers in the field of socially responsible investing, but in addition, members will be enrolled in an academic update service where they will receive notification of newly written research and abstracts of the latest article when available. Also included is a complete collection of the latest articles released throughout the year. The Colloquium has set up a membership fee structure that offers the best value available in investment education available today. Compared to fees that can reach $3,000 and higher for similar memberships, Colloquium members pay only $395 per year Membership. We are in the process of putting together the program for the 2000 meeting. Below is the 1999 program. |
